American ace rapper, Kendrick Lamar, touched down in Ghana on Thursday in view of his upcoming album release titled ‘Mr Morale & The Big Steppers’.
His arrival quickly sparked delight amongst his fans and star-struck Ghanaians, with photos being taken during his visit to a local restaurant.
The eatery Kozo GH, where Lamar stopped to it, quickly took to their Instagram page to share a photo of him. A picture which has now gone viral.
The rapper is expected to shoot a documentary series in the West African nation and hold a private album listening part before his departure.
Lamar’s trip to Ghana seemingly hit top trends, with several household names dropping their thoughts. Jack Dorsey, former CEO of Twitter recently shared the viral photo of Lamar in Ghana.
Recall that the American rapper shared a link last month on his tweeter page; to enable fans access his Oklama website. He also used the platform to announce the release date of his album to be May 13.
Over the years, Kendrick Lamar have been known to drop outstanding rap performances and hit songs. ‘Mr Morale & The Big Steppers’ have been compared by many to his 2017 album ‘Damn’ which won him a Pulitzer award.
With a couple of Grammy Awards and Oscar nominations, he has become a favourite in the rap industry across the globe. Lamar has also overseen the Black Panther soundtrack, Coachella and Top Dawg Entertainment’s Championship Tour.
