Prime Minister of Canada – Justin Trudeau faced a host of unwelcoming Parliament members in a recent session held to discuss a way forward on the safety regulations made to curb coronavirus within the country.

With the decision seen as an opposition to civil rights, moreso a violation, Trudeau had failed to make a public appearance for a considerable length of time, with other reports suggesting he was infected with the virus and had to recover.

In an emergency session earlier this week, a discuss was held on the ‘Freedom Convoy’ – describing the truckers’ protest to end vaccine and mask mandates, business lockdowns and restrictions placed on travelling.

What has been seen as a contentious week for the Prime Minister became even more repulsive; when he faced calls to hold a meeting with opposition leaders, to halt the unwelcomed mandates.

During the session, Candice Bergen—the leader of the Conservative Party—asked Trudeau to consider scrapping the restrictions, urging him to bring hope to the people of Canada.

“This cannot be a slow and dragged out process simply because of the prime minister’s ego, pride, or denial.

“Canadians are too tired. Canadians need hope. So will the prime minister follow the science, follow the evidence, end the restrictions, end the mandates?” she asked.

Despite calls and offensive words thrown by Parliament member Heckling during the recent Parliament gathering for Trudeau to speak for himself, the PM continued to insist he will not listen to requests to end the mandate, further accusing the protesting truckers of racism and misogyny.

Trudeau also termed the protesters as ‘Nazis’ during Monday’s Parliament session.

Furthermore, PM Trudeau failed to speak amidst loud calls by parliament members. Jeers heard were: “We’re going to continue to follow the science, we’re going to continue to have Canadians’ backs, we’re going to continue to protect people’s lives.”

Anthony Rota – Speaker of the House of Commons addressed the chamber and seconded on the loud calls of members. This was before Trudeau was allowed to complete his statements on not listening to requests to end the mandates.

Aside the demeaning statements from Heckling during same session, Trudeau has also had it tough with Candice Bergen. The Conservative Party leader had spoken on Trudeau’s invective on unvaccinated citizens.

“Does he regret calling people names who didn’t take the vaccine?”

“Does he regret calling people misogynist and racist and just, escalating and poking sticks at them and being so divisive to individual Canadians that he might not disagree with, that he might have thought were wrong?” she asked.

Latest updates puts a major part of the protesting convoy downtown Ottawa, close to the Parliament; with parked trucks halting major business activities for over two weeks.

Another blockade of the Canada-U.S. border sprung up, further choking trade and traffic between both Countries. The Canadian government has signalled it would send “reinforcements” to help quell the disruptions.
